Applications are reviewed by a real person on our verification team. Most U.S. applications are approved within one business day.
What you'll need
- Your legal business name — or your own legal name if you're selling as a sole proprietor.
- Your business address (this is verified against public records).
- A tax identifier: EIN for a business entity, or SSN for sole proprietors, for IRS reporting.
- A U.S. bank account for payouts.
- A government-issued photo ID for identity verification.
- A short description of what you plan to sell.
What happens after you apply
- Our verification team reviews your submission — usually within one business day.
- If we need anything else, we'll email you directly (never by SMS, never asking for a card number).
- Once approved, you'll get instructions to set up your storefront, pick a plan, and add your first listing.
What we do not accept
We do not permit listings for counterfeit goods, regulated pharmaceuticals, weapons, tobacco, alcohol, adult content, live animals, hazardous materials, recalled products, or any category prohibited by U.S. federal law. Our full seller policy details every restricted category.
