How Suliit tries to be a boring marketplace, in the best sense.

The goal of trust and safety at Suliit is that most days you don't have to think about it. Sellers are verified, payments are handled by licensed providers, listings are reviewed, and disputes have a documented path. Here is what that means in practice.

Secure marketplace environment

Every seller account is reviewed by a person before any listing goes live. We check identity, business details, and — where applicable — public records for the business entity. Accounts flagged by our systems for unusual behavior are put on hold for manual review; that occasionally slows a legitimate seller for a day, and we think that tradeoff is worth it.

Seller verification

Verification includes a government-issued ID check, a match against the tax identifier the seller provides, and a bank-account ownership check for payouts. Businesses are matched against state registration records where available. This is the same verification standard used by regulated U.S. payment processors.

Fraud prevention

Both buyer and seller sides are screened. On the buyer side, payment attempts are scored for risk by our processing partners; suspicious transactions are declined at the network level. On the seller side, we monitor listing patterns, message content, and behavior signals that historically correlate with fraud (rapid listing of high-value electronics, refusal to ship domestically, bank account swaps immediately before payout).

Privacy protection

Buyer and seller data are stored in the U.S. Full card numbers are never stored on Suliit's own systems; they are handled by our PCI-DSS certified processors. Sellers see only the buyer information they need to fulfill an order (name, shipping address, and the on-platform message thread). Buyers see the seller's storefront and public policies. Payment security

Payments run through licensed U.S. payment providers. All connections between the buyer's browser, Suliit, and the processor are TLS-encrypted. Suliit passes only tokenized identifiers between systems. Read more on the payments & security page.

Customer support

Support is handled in the U.S. during business hours (Monday–Friday, 9 AM to 6 PM ET). Real people answer email and phone. Sensitive account actions — email changes, password resets, payout account changes — go through additional verification steps.

Responsible commerce

Our seller policy restricts categories that would be inappropriate for a general-purpose marketplace: weapons, controlled substances, adult content, counterfeits, and similar. Our community guidelines govern how buyers and sellers speak to each other on the platform. Enforcement is documented and consistent.

Reporting a problem

To report a listing, a message, or a seller: email support@suliit.com. Include the URL and a brief description. Reports are reviewed by our trust and safety team, typically within one business day. Reports involving fraud, safety, or intellectual property are prioritized.
